Merry Christmas!

There's only one day left till Christmas, and obviously blogging isn't exactly a top priority. Nevertheless, I felt the urge to share with you, in true Christmas spirit, possibly one of the best Christmas songs ever recorded. If anything, it never fails to get me into the festive mood:

Bah, humbug x)
Merry Christmas everyone :D

They're Not Out of Time

It has been confirmed: Blur is officially reforming! I'm so happy, I haven't got words! I wanted to post a video interview here on this blog, but it just wouldn't work, so I'm providing you with a link instead, http://link.brightcove.com/services/link/bcpid1659851007/bclid1755457108/bctid4319131001

I'm chuffed to bits :D

My bad.

I have been informed that the word "redshirted", which I used when commenting Manchester United, is an actual term meaning something completely different from what I meant. I was of course, from a girls perspective, aiming at the colour of their shirts. No offense meant, no offense done, eh?

Sharpen your ears - it's Blur!

I apologize for not bringing you the news before, but knowing you lot, you're probably not updated on these things anyway. Damon Albarn has announced that Blur will get together for rehearsals sometime in 2009 to see if they're "into it". Just to up the news, the reunion includes Graham Coxon as well! After six years of having hardly spoken to each other, it seems Damon and Graham might finally have made up: "Graham and I have been hanging out together a bit," Damon said. "We had lunch the other day. He's great, it's fantastic to get my old friend back."
So even if these recent news can't promise us a definite Blur comeback, I think it's well worth it just to know that the Albarn/Coxon friendship has been restored.

(Battery In Your Leg, one of my personal favorites, and incidentally the last song all four of them played together.)

Me, myself and moi.

Having said that, here's a blogpost dedicated entirely to myself:
I'm thinking about taking a year abroad. Having lived in the same town for 16 years, my life has come to a bit of a standstill. It's time for a change of environment! It's time to set sail for the west and widen the horizon so it fits panorama! I'm young and temporarily insane, and there's no better time than that for a year across the pond. That's right.
